María Fernanda González is a physicist, civil engineer, and oceanographer whose trajectory bridges the hard sciences, computation, and the entrepreneurial frontier. From the equations of fluid dynamics and Bohmian mechanics to the algorithms of machine learning and Earth observation satellites, her work has always been animated by one question: How do we make the invisible legible?

Her formation spans Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, the Almirante Padilla Naval School, the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE/UPC) and the University of Barcelona — where she pursued advanced studies in numerical methods and computational modeling — followed by IESE Business School, the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), and ESADE.

A physicist and numerical modeler by formation, a deep-tech founder and author by vocation, and a mentor and global citizen by conviction — she designs systems that see the Earth more clearly and that help humanity act more wisely within it. Her work inhabits the space where science becomes technology, and technology becomes planetary responsibility.

She holds a Ph.D. scholarship and has been recognized by the World Economic Forum, the U.S. Government, ESADE, and international innovation programs across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Under her literary name María Fernanda Márquez Pardo, she also writes at the intersection of science, ancestral knowledge, memory, and human reconstruction.

Quantum roots,
planetary scale

Her scientific practice is rooted in quantum physics and Bohmian mechanics — interpretations of reality in which hidden variables and nonlocal dynamics play a constitutive role. This philosophical and mathematical sensibility pervades her work in numerical methods, computational fluid dynamics, Earth system modeling, and the design of AI architectures that are structurally aware of the living system they seek to understand.

Independent counsel
at the edge of evidence

Beyond building companies, María Fernanda advises institutions, investors and governments on decisions that sit at the intersection of science, technology and planetary risk — bringing the same scientific rigor she applies to her own ventures to the questions her clients cannot afford to get wrong.

01

AI Strategy and Governance

Advising organizations and institutions on responsible AI adoption, governance frameworks, and quantum-inspired algorithmic strategy grounded in scientific rigor.

02

Earth and Territorial Intelligence

Satellite-based intelligence and geospatial analysis to inform land-use, conservation, and territorial planning decisions.

03

Technology and Investment Due Diligence

Independent technical and scientific due diligence for investors and institutions evaluating deep-tech, climate-tech, and AI ventures.

04

Natural Capital and Climate Intelligence

Quantification and monitoring of natural capital, carbon, and biodiversity assets to support climate risk and ESG decision-making.

Intelligence as
planetary infrastructure

Essential AI is a paradigm that moves beyond fragmented, extractive intelligence systems toward integrated architectures for governance, memory, and planetary continuity. It draws on ancestral knowledge systems, Earth observation data, and quantum-inspired methods to propose a new foundation for institutional decision-making at civilizational scale.
